Lakeside Reflections

DESCRIPTION

The bright blue body and green lily-pad pattern of this azurmalachite pendant set in 18k yellow gold are reminiscent of time spent sitting quietly on the waterside of a glassy lake. The gold spiral reflects the ripples created when you dip your toe in.

INSPIRATION

It was the colours and lily-pad pattern of this unusually-cut azurmalachite that attracted my attention and suggested a lakeside. I was reminded of a lake in Chile where I could have spent many happy hours staring across the lake’s vast expanse towards the mountains in awe of its beauty and enjoying its emptiness.
