Heirloom Padparascha
This is an heirloom ring where the central stone had been removed for something else. The gentleman wanted a padparascha sapphire often described as 'salmon pink' due to its rare mix of pink and orange. His girlfriend grew up in the Scottish Highlands with lots of salmon hence the colour choice. These kinds of sapphire are almost exclusively found in Sri Lanka where they have earned the name of padparascha after the orange-pink lotus flower. This particular stone takes on different colours in different light settings providing endless fascination.
"She loves the ring. Won't stop talking about the sapphire. We smashed it! Thank you so much for your help and pulling it out the bag." Charlie N.
